Club de Español
Join our Spanish class! Students will play games, make crafts, and participate in activities that are structured to teach your child to speak and understand Spanish. Taught by a native speaker, children will receive an excellent foundation from which to build upon as they advance in their study of the Spanish language.
Blend it up
Does your child enjoy exploring new flavors and creating tasty treats? Our Blending Basics program introduces young enthusiasts to the art of making smoothies, dips, and more. Students will learn to blend a variety of nutritious and delicious recipes from around the globe, including Mediterranean Hummus, Mexican Guacamole, and American Smoothies. Our sessions are packed with fun, offering kids the chance to learn blending techniques, understand safety protocols, and enhance their culinary vocabulary. Join us for a blending adventure where your child will discover how simple ingredients can be transformed into exciting and healthy creations!
National Kids Gym
Our gymnastics and movement programs teach basic gymnastic and tumbling skills, while incorporating lots of fun! These high-energy classes include balance beam, mini trampoline, tumbling barrel, bars, games, group activities, aerobics and stretching. Not only do children learn the basics of physical activity, but also multifaceted skills that extend beyond extracurricular activities, like enhanced basic motor skills, team-building and problem-solving, socialization, self-confidence, and, of course, coordination, balance, and body awareness. All while having fun!
Soccer and Basketball Drills - Scholar Athlete Advantage
Scholar-Athlete Advantage is dedicated to promoting a healthier lifestyle for students by encouraging them to be active for 60 minutes a day as well as working with schools and sports organizations in providing fun-fitness-fundraising events to build community spirit. Our Youth Take 60 Fitness Challenge and Sport-Specific Combines are opportunities for students to “break a sweat” and have an exciting and safe environment to interact with one another through fitness.
We use state of the art technology in our innovative and dynamic fitness programs. In the “Soccer and Basketball Drills program” we will design fun and challenging drills in both sports, teaching students the basics, as well as team building exercises and more.
Crafty Scientists
The Crafty Scientists class is an engaging blend of science and creativity designed for curious young minds! In each session, kids will explore scientific concepts through hands-on, craft-based experiments that make learning both fun and memorable. They’ll mix, build, and discover as they make slime, craft volcanos, learn about and make dinosaur habitats, and more. This class encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and imaginative thinking, making science approachable and exciting for kids. Perfect for sparking curiosity and a love for discovery!
Chess Club
Join our mixed age Chess Club, where we offer captivating and age-appropriate chess lessons to engage students at all skill levels. Our program covers the fundamentals, openings, and strategic thinking. We start with a free play session to gauge familiarity and comfort with chess, progressively introducing skills and encouraging their application in gameplay. We spice things up with variant chess games to maintain enthusiasm and playfulness. We work closely with your child throughout the class to help them internalize chess concepts and rules. Whether they're total beginners or looking to advance their skills, students will leave with newfound knowledge and a deep passion for Chess!
Fees for After-School Program Complement (ASPC) are due at the time of registration and are non-refundable. Please read the dates and times carefully for each class before signing up.
