On Thursday, October 22nd, the entire Middle School took advantage of warm weather and sunny skies and headed out to our neighboring Wissahickon trails to experience nature. Taking extra precautions to keep students in cohorts and socially distanced, small groups entered the Wissahickon at staggered times and different locations including Strawbridge, Wissahickon Ave, Historic RittenHouse Town, after the bridge on Henry Ave, and via Gypsy lane. Students brought their lunches and picniced amongst rocks, tree stumps, grass, and moss. Leaving our spots better than we found them involved light trash collection which was brought back to our campus.
